What is the Trainee Job Description?
PZ Cusson is searching for passionate Engineering/Manufacturing Trainees to join their team in Ikorodu. This role supports smooth production operations by meeting volume targets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring equipment functionality through timely maintenance. You’ll also play a crucial role in promoting safety and continuous improvement on the production floor.
Job Responsibilities

Oversee production activities to ensure timely delivery of output that meets quality benchmarks.

Support and implement maintenance routines to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.

Foster a safe work environment aligned with PZ Cussons’ Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and practices.

Prepare comprehensive reports on daily production metrics, attendance, machinery performance, and material usage.

Monitor team and individual performance, conduct regular evaluations, and identify training or development needs.

Ensure full compliance with management systems, including OHSAS, EMS, QMS, and GMP standards.

Take ownership of product quality during your shift, ensuring all goods exceed the company’s quality criteria.

Contribute to continuous process improvements, team communication, and maintaining strong employee relations.
Eligibility Criteria for Engineering/Manufacturing Graduate Trainee at PZ CUSSON

A degree (B.Sc./B.Eng./HND) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

1 to 3 years of practical experience in a similar capacity within a sizable organization.

Resilient under pressure with strong attention to technical and design details.

Excellent skills in analysis, planning, and time management.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
