What You’ll Do
As a Graduate Sales Engineer, you will:
- Take part in formal learning programs—formal trainings and on-the-job—to build technical and business capabilities.
- Deliver quality work on assigned internship projects.
- Support local sales and service organizations, including LBPs.
- Work with field service engineers and business development team to improve service delivery and contribute to revenue in Nigeria.
- Support sound plans for development and implementation that allow us to outperform the market.
- Work with Emerson Business Units, pursuing cross-functional opportunities for delivering value-added solutions.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers and be completely aware of our solutions capabilities across Emerson Automation Solutions.
- Anticipate market forces, industry trends, and product advancements to be able to deliver smart solutions to customer needs.
- Do business in compliance with Emerson’s ethics, international trade compliance, and record-keeping principles.

Who We’re Looking For
To be considered, you should:
- Be no older than 26 years as of the application date.
- Hold a Second Class Upper degree in an Engineering field (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Chemical), Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Geology.
- Have completed your NYSC or obtained your discharge/exemption certificate by September 2025.
- Be Microsoft Office Suite competent.
Be fluent in English. Preferred but Not Necessary - 0–2 years of post-graduate work experience.
- Familiarity with the oil & gas sector.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Curiosity and desire to learn.
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and grasp challenges.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
